Bios develops cutting edge treatments, such as a prosthetic interface device that allows amputees to control a connected body part, that combine advances in hardware, big data and AI.

Workspace

Allia Future Business Centres – the home for social innovation and tech for good. We have four centres in London, Cambridge and Peterborough with nearly 100,000 sq ft of space – all dedicated to help people start and develop businesses that make a positive impact on people, planet and place. We provide affordable workspace, a vibrant environment and expert business support.

Venture support

We run our programme of free venture support for entrepreneurs and growing ventures from our Future Business Centres. This can be accessed through a single day workshop, amplified through a longer programme of workshops, talks and training, or scaled with nine months of incubation space and one-on-one mentoring, all supported by the state-of-the-art facilities and the tools you need to develop and grow your business.

Social finance

Allia C&C supports established charities and impact organisations in raising finance. Our team has extensive experience in advising and arranging finance across sectors – with particular expertise within housing, care and education. We can also connect you with ethical and impact investors who are looking for opportunities to channel their investments.

Other Work

Seas2Grow

We are a partner in Seas2Grow, a European project helping to improve the lives of the ageing population, and we run the Agetech Accelerator, which supports the development of innovative solutions, products and services for older people so that they can remain at home for longer.

The Water Innovation Network is a free business network and partnership initiative between Allia and Anglian Water, providing unique opportunities and support for organisations that have innovative solutions to business challenges within the water sector.

GreenSoul

Our Cambridge centre is the UK base for the European pilot programme GreenSoul, which aims to encourage more eco-awareness and energy efficiency by individuals when using public spaces, testing innovative technologies to alter and improve the ways people use shared devices.

Scale-Up

Allia is a partner in Scale-Upa European project connecting cleantech innovators and large enterprises. The large corporates benefit from introductions to the dynamic SME innovation ecosystem, and SMEs get the chance to bring their products and services to corporate buyers.
