Allia Serious Impact launches a new free business programme in Tower Hamlets this week to help local businesses grow.
The “Grow Your Business” programme is aimed at any business thinking about its next steps or struggling to find expert advice and support to help it develop. The business can be in any sector and any size from 2 to 50 people as long as it is based in Tower Hamlets and wants to grow.
Businesses who are accepted onto this programme will enjoy the benefits of 1-2-1 advice, mentors to guide you through the workshops and follow on sessions – all free for successful applicants.
With busy business owners in mind, the programme has been designed to fit around the working day with evening workshops plus individual sessions with mentors at a time that suits each business. The 3 month programme runs from March to June and covers marketing, sales, operations, finance, strategy, teamwork. Topics include:
- Getting the word out and the customers in
- Making sure your service delights your customers
- Hiring and looking after great employees
- Deciding what paths to take in the future
- Growing a local presence
- Organising yourself to do business better
- Finance – opportunities available to you
Alex Potter, Programme Manager for Grow Your Business is looking for people with a passion for their business and their local area: “We’re open to applications from businesses in any sector! You could be running a café or bar, a bakery or corner shop, a local garage, roofing company or manufacturing business! So long as you have the passion, commitment and potential to grow, we’d love to help!”
