Hackney Council partners with Allia to support local micro and small businesses in the borough to develop and grow

Allia has partnered with Hackney Council to provide another year of high-quality support, workshops and mentoring for 145 small and micro businesses in Hackney to help them develop, grow and achieve their impact aims.

Over 2022, Allia will run a range of programmes that will help local entrepreneurs to bring their business ideas to life; support established small businesses to grow revenue and gain more customers; and work with pre-seed or seed impact start-ups that aim to address the most pressing local and global challenges.

ALLIA WORKS WITH JIMMY’S AND NEW MEANING FOUNDATION TO DESIGN, BUILD AND INSTALL MUCH NEEDED COMMUNITY HOUSING IN THE CITY

Six new homes have been built to provide supported living for homeless people in Cambridge. Led by Allia, a charity dedicated to the creation of positive impact, this innovative housing project was the result of a 12-month partnership with Jimmy’s, the Cambridge homelessness charity, and the New Meaning Foundation, an ethical construction social enterprise.
