Update on Papworth Printworks

Flagship, the developer responsible for refurbishing the Papworth Printworks has found, during the demolition work, that the condition of the building is worse than they anticipated and worse than when their original plans were drawn up.

They are therefore currently looking at different options for how to comply with the planning obligation to hand Allia a refurbished shell.

Progress has been much slower than Allia had hoped and, with the timetable outside our control, we do not yet know when we will have information to share with village residents.
